Geology & TechnicalFoundation: 25 years in land, teaching: Petroleum Land Management (Field Services/Mount Royal College); author: "The Landman in Action" surficial geology and all aspects of petroleum land including strategies and methods for surface and minerals acquisition. Milestones: discovered and mapped the Peace River Ashes, named the Whitestone Marker in Montney, Peace and Many Island channels (1997) (AGS MIN_1997006 Report); Operator of the Peace Diamond Project, a seven-year multi-million dollar assessment exploring, mapping and drilling a 500,000 acre metallic and industrial minerals block in the Clear Hills of Alberta. Proposed the West Peace Diamond Indicator Mineral Trend (1999) using photo interpretation, magnetometer surveys, exploration and reconnaissance, sampling of KIMs (kimberlite indicators) mapping, shallow-hole logging; sampling DIMS (diamond indicator minerals) and analysis (heavy metallics and diamond indicator mineral geochemistry) picking, probing, interpreting.
